Scientist for an Evil Organization Volume 1 Chapter 25 part 1

Episode 25 – About Television, or the Fierce Sexy-san

Two years ago, a mysterious group suddenly appeared as if from nowhere.

Calling themselves the the Delnkeim, they began an invasion of Japan.

Using monsters and evil soldiers that seemed straight out of a tokusatsu production, they gradually expanded their demonic influence.

Tonight, we’ll delve into the mystery surrounding this dreadful organization…

Host: Good evening, I’m your host ○○. The Delnkeim, an organization aiming to conquer Japan…just who are they exactly? We know far too little. Tonight, we’ll try to uncover the truth behind this violent, malicious group.

The host proceeds to introduce the evening’s guests:

  1. A sociologist (male, 58 years old)

Sociologist: Well, I’ve been following Delnkeim’s movements since they first appeared two years ago. As someone concerned about Japan’s current response, I’d like to offer my opinion tonight.

  2. An education commentator (female, 40 years old)

Commentator: For the sake of our children’s future, we cannot allow their wicked deeds to go unchallenged.

  3. A popular female idol (19 years old)

Idol: Good evening everyone~! Please treat me well~

  4. A popular comedy duo (32 year old male – 33 year old male)

Comedian A: Hey there. Well, we don’t really know much about Delnkeim, you know?

Comedian B: Yeah, ’cause we’re fans of the Lost Fairies, you see.

Comedian A: Ah yeah, Mr. B here is an Eres fan. He likes the loli oppai type (laughs).

Comedian B: Hey now! Anyway, we’re looking forward to tonight!

The camera returns to the host for the title call.

[Emergency Special: In-Depth Discussion! The Mysterious Invaders – Delnkeim]

197: Anonymous Combatant

Well, it’s starting huh.

198: Anonymous Combatant

It’s that thing right? [In-Depth Discussion! The Mysterious Invaders Delnkeim!]

199: Anonymous Combatant

Yeah yeah, where famous people gather to talk about Delnkeim.

I was actually looking forward to it.

200: Anonymous Combatant

Even if they’re called famous, with comedians and idols, isn’t it more like a variety show?

201: Anonymous Combatant

There’s even an anti-Lost Fairies sociologist there.

202: Anonymous Combatant

NyanJ is [NyanDemoJikkyouJupiter] after all, so commenting while watching TV and rambling is the proper way to go.
tlnote : nandemo jikkyou : Live commentary of anything

203: Anonymous Combatant

Hakase’s not coming?

204: Anonymous Combatant

He’s a busy executive. It’d be tough for him to spend 2.5 hours in front of the TV during golden time, no?

205: Commentary Squad

Alright, I’ll temporarily take the lead commenting then, using my name.

[In-Depth Discussion! The Mysterious Invaders Delnkeim!]

It’s a discussion-style program hosted by a famous comedian, discussing various topics.

Seems to be more of a variety show without any real experts.

As the title suggests, they’ll be talking about Delnkeim and the Lost Fairies among other things. We’ll be doing commentary and enjoying ourselves with this.

…The TV station really has no clue, huh!

206: Anonymous Combatant

There’s no way anyone knows more about Delnkeim than NyanJ residents, lol.

207: Anonymous Combatant

Yeah, we even get Lost Fairies info leaked by Hakase and all.

208: Anonymous Combatant

Ah, I’m looking forward to it. Especially the arrogant sociologist’s mistaken comments.

209: Anonymous Combatant

As expected of NyanJ warriors. Being shitty is the default setting. lol

210: Anonymous Combatant

Oh, back from commercial break.

211: Anonymous Combatant

Well, at least they have some old footage and such.

212: Anonymous Combatant

Nowadays with people filming and uploading stuff, energy-saving production is the norm for TV shows.

213: Anonymous Combatant

Ooh! Hakase was on screen!

214: Anonymous Combatant

Probably only this thread would get excited seeing the Acting Chief Executive on TV.

215: Commentary Squad

After commercial – showing viewer submitted footage of Delnkeim.

They’re also touching on the man who recently appeared claiming to be the Acting Chief Executive.

Host: Now let’s take a look at Delnkeim’s invasion footage submitted by viewers.

It starts with footage from two years ago, of strange people and combatants rampaging in Tokyo.

There are also some closed down shops and companies, victims of Delnkeim.

Apparently within six months of appearing, through sheer brutality, they had forcefully taken control of some areas.

216: Anonymous Combatant

Huh? Seeing it like this, they’re actually a pretty organized evil group, eh?

217: Anonymous Combatant

Now that I think about it, there were alert warnings and such two years ago.

It felt like a natural disaster level of trouble back then.

This is the first I’m hearing they took over places like abandoned amusement parks too.

218: Anonymous Combatant

Ah, I’ve seen this Self-Defense Force footage before. Where they fired a bazooka at one of the monsters but it didn’t work.

219: Anonymous Combatant

The sociologist says “If they had persisted, they could have defeated them. It was a misjudgment by the SDF.”

220: Anonymous Combatant

That idiot’s still going on about that? It’s thanks to the Lost Fairies we have peace now.

221: Anonymous Combatant

Well, physical attacks won’t work on those half-spirit body monsters anyway (smug).

222: Commentary Squad

Host: As you can see, Delnkeim has dealt serious damage to society. However, Japan’s police and Self-Defense Forces are excellent, and while unable to defeat the monsters, they have achieved the remarkable feat of allowing almost no loss of life, with only minor injuries.

Comedian B: Maybe this group is just really weak, you know? (laughs)

Comedian A: Yeah, ’cause they always lose to Eres-chan and the others (laughs).

Hah? It’s all thanks to the leader, you idiots!

223: Anonymous Combatant

To be precise, it’s thanks to Hakase’s efforts in earnestly trying to fulfill the leader’ never-ending unreasonable demands.

the leader does want to invade, but with minimal casualties, which is just unrealistic.

224: Anonymous Combatant

Oh, an unexpected voice of reason.

Commentator: Is that so? While they may be hiding it well, the monsters’ attacks seem to be deliberately targeting areas without civilians. This could be part of their strategy, no?

She gets it, at least.

225: Sociologist

Don’t be ridiculous. I’ve been following Delnkeim for two years now. I can definitely say what you’re claiming is incorrect.

Idiot. By the time you started “following” two years ago, it was already too late.

226: Anonymous Combatant

Hakase had already entered Japan over half a year before that, old man.

227: Commentary Squad

The discussion moves on to the different types of monsters.

There are quite a variety like spider, train, and camera types. There are also Delnkeim troops.

The combatants and magic soldiers are introduced too.

L-ria and the others make their TV debut, referred to as “Metal Troops” on the program.

Next, they focus on the Acting Chief Executive, Halvied Calm Sein.

228: Commentary Squad

Most of the comments about Hakase come from the sociologist.

Sociologist: First, we can say this man Halvied is an extremely cruel and cunning individual.

229: Anonymous Combatant

Bwahahahaha

230: Sexy

Cruel, you say?

231: Anonymous Combatant

This discussion show is more like a comedy skit now.

232: Anonymous Combatant

And Sexy-san even chimed in too.

233: Commentary Squad

Sociologist: Currently, the one openly active is this man Halvied. The leader was once referred to as “Serrei?” by the combatants, but Halvied undoubtedly holds the real power.

Sociologist: That means all the cruel acts so far were carried out under this man’s orders. Or it’s even possible that he has the leader Serrei completely under his control as a mere puppet.

Sociologist: Look at this cold, cruel laughter directed at the Lost Fairies. It’s unthinkable to judge he has no ulterior motives.

234: Anonymous Combatant

In a sense, he’s not exactly wrong though.

235: Anonymous Combatant

So the leader’s name is Serrei?

236: Anonymous Combatant

Kinda a cute siren-like name, maybe it’s legit after all.
