Reunion and Collision — And Then, the Secret of the Corpse King Is Revealed
After saving the Iron-Steel City of Gagiur, Helheim sets his sights on the Land of Desire, the Nightless Nation, in order to gather weapon materials and funds.
There, he reunites with one of the Eight Precepts: Flesvelgr, Guardian of the Divine Tree.
However, she harbors deep resentment toward the Corpse King for having suddenly vanished without a trace one hundred and eighty years ago. Their reunion quickly turns into a clash.
Meanwhile, the citizens of the Nightless Nation are all suffering from the same nightmare — one in which “two gigantic serpents” appear.
To uncover the truth behind this mystery, the Corpse King accepts a request from his ally of one hundred and eighty years past, the great merchant Zeno, and begins his investigation.
As the Nightless Nation descends into chaos, he finds himself drawn into a web of sinister conspiracies writhing beneath the surface.
At the same time, the Nightless Nation sees the arrival of formidable figures one after another — the Level Eight explorer [Crimson Flower], the high-ranking demon knight Furcas, and even the strongest of humanity, the Assault King-dono himself—!
