Special Written Story: The Fluffiness Increased
Even during breaks from the cultural festival, I was conducting supplementary lessons after school. Yesterday was with Shenley, Dean, and the others. And today was with Felter.
What I would do with Felter was body strengthening magic and mock combat. For this reason, instead of my usual instructor’s uniform, I headed to the location in clothing that was easy to move in. While not quite a running uniform, it was loose clothing consisting of wide-legged pants and a shirt. Well, my shoes were leather shoes and I held a wooden sword in my hand, but other than that, it could be considered quite ordinary attire.
In this outfit, I went to our usual place and looked for Felter. Looking around, I spotted him immediately. However, today seemed different from usual.
Simply put, the number of people was different.
“I have been waiting.”
The person who said this as his opening words when I arrived at the training area—I looked up at him and tilted my head.
“……Ramsey-san. Why are you here?”
When I asked this in surprise, Ramsey puffed out his chest and laughed.
“When I heard that Felter would have a bout with Aoi-dono, I couldn’t sit still! I absolutely want you to let me join in!”
Ramsey said this energetically. Looking carefully, he was indeed dressed for easy movement. While still wearing leather armor, it was overall light equipment. Ramsey laughed heartily in high spirits. Watching such a Ramsey with a displeased expression, Felter opened his mouth.
“……Show him hell.”
When Felter said this in an annoyed manner, Ramsey’s eyes glittered as he showed a fierce smile.
“Ooh! I want to see Aoi-dono at full power! Don’t worry! I may be a common soldier, but I’ve faced five thousand men alone before! I won’t go down easily!”
He was in excellent form. Without minding Felter’s barbed words, Ramsey began warming up by swinging both arms around. Felter showed an exasperated expression at this, but didn’t try to stop him. No, he might have tried to stop him many times before coming here, but at least he showed no such signs now.
Perhaps he wanted to see a match between Ramsey and me.
Thinking such things, I looked at Ramsey.
“I understand. By the way, this isn’t exactly a condition, but I have one request for agreeing to the match.”
When I said this, Ramsey tilted his head while maintaining his posture of hitting fist against fist.
“What is it?”
“If I win, please let me touch your ears and tail along with Felter-kun.”
When I announced this, Ramsey momentarily stopped moving, then immediately took a step back.
“W-wha-wha-what are you saying!? Th-that won’t do! I have Fiore……”
For some reason, Ramsey became abnormally flustered. Incidentally, Felter also released his crossed arms for some reason and looked at me with an expression of shock.
“Is it not allowed?”
When I asked this for confirmation, the two looked at each other as if they had arranged it beforehand.
“……Felter.”
When he called the name with a face that seemed to want to say something, Felter shook his head from side to side.
“……Give up. She apparently likes animal ears and tails.”
When Felter answered this, Ramsey crossed his arms and began groaning. Was having his ears and tail touched that embarrassing? But I couldn’t compromise on that point either.
As I stared intently, eventually Ramsey closed his eyes and nodded.
“…………Fine. However, we’ll have five matches, and only if you win the majority. If I win the majority, that condition is void.”
“I understand.”
I immediately responded to the condition Ramsey proposed. As I was rejoicing at having secured fluffiness rights, Felter let out a deep sigh.
“……He should have made it about the number of attacks landed or something like that……”
He said this while shaking his head, but Felter’s muttering didn’t reach Ramsey.
Of course, it goes without saying that I was able to simultaneously fluff the completely defeated Ramsey and Felter.
“Nnn……”
“……Give up.”
With Ramsey making sounds of anguish for some reason and Felter on either side of me, I rubbed and petted from their manes to their beast ears. Ramsey’s were firmer and more powerful, while Felter’s were soft and silky. Both had their own characteristics and were wonderful in their own ways.
“……Should I call Shenley over as well?”
I muttered this while petting the heads of the two groaning men.
